Building our Future

We intend to build our homestead and share the land with the community , visitors and wildlife.

Our plan has developed from our own needs along with input we’ve gathered from the community in Floyd, as well as our existing network. It will continue to change as we become more engrained in the community and continue to understand the needs and resources available. Our intention is to preserve as well as restore the land we have and use most of it for observation of nature and meditation. We want to build a communal gathering/event space with 3-5 acres in mind, and use 5-10 acres for a communal farm/gardens for regenerative agriculture.

We intend that all structures and systems be built using low-impact, sustainable practices. Fully off-grid electricity, water and sanitation is a goal with practicality in mind.
